Exhibit and Display Services
Part of Certified Van Service's specialized
transportation capabilities are Exhibit and Display
or Tradeshow services. Servicing the United States and
Canada, utilizing our own fleet, and the Atlas Van Lines
Tradeshow fleet we boast a 99.2% on-time delivery record.
We recognize and address the unique characteristics
of tradeshow shipments.
We know that when one of our customers
entrusts their tradeshow shipment to us, they are depending
on us to get them on site, on-time, with their display
in showroom condition. We recognize that attending a
tradeshow can represent a huge investment and our customer
is seeking huge returns from their attendance at a given
show. There is no room for error when it comes to handling
these sensitive shipments.
At Certified Van Service, Inc., and at
Atlas Van Lines, we handle tradeshows with a dedicated
dispatch group and a dedicated tradeshow fleet. Our
dispatchers understand the importance of what they are
doing; they understand and are prepared for last minute
release of a shipment and tight delivery schedules that
must be met. Our drivers in the tradeshow fleet are
highly trained not only in how to handle shipments safely,
but also in how to negotiate their way in and out of
a tradeshow site.
We offer direct pick-up in and out of convention
centers. We can offer you the opportunity to work on
your exhibit booth and prepare for the show for a longer
period of time while helping you avoid excess handling
and costly drayage charges. All of our trailers have
specialized on board equipment that enables us to make
deliveries right onto the show floors. We offer on-site
representation at all major shows to ensure shipments
that are traveling to and from shows on our fleets are
getting on and off the floor on a timely basis.
At Certified Van Service, Inc., we can
help you plan your entire year's show schedule as well
as your individual shipments. With a nationwide network
of warehouses, for short or long term storage we can
help you keep your transportation budget in line as
well as reduce the wear and tear on your exhibit when
we help you plan your schedule in advance. We specialize
in servicing shipments on tour as well as private events.
Our tradeshow fleet, with its environmental control
units, also moves shipments of fine arts, collectibles
and fine antiques.
We provide direct pick-up and delivery
to and from exhibition centers and offer an extended
valuation coverage program through EXHlBlTGuard to insure
your valuable properties. The EXHlBlTGuard Protection
Program provides comprehensive insurance coverage against
damage for exhibit properties and products. Coverage
applies per interstate transit segment, and inbound
protection covers while in transit (via Atlas) to the
show, while being drayed to the booth area, during installation
and during the show. Outbound protection provides coverage
during dismantle, while being drayed from the booth
and while in transit (via Atlas). Protection also applies
if shipment is in storage in an Atlas warehouse or at
the drayage contractor's warehouse, and when the drayage
contractor is responsible for shuttling between warehouse
and show hall. The maximum coverage available is $200,000,
with a $1,000 deductible for theft or loss if inventoried
items, although damages to shipping containers are excluded.
The benefits provided by EXHlBlTGuard are extensive,
including an All-Risk policy offering coverage for all
phases of a tradeshow. The cost of coverage is only
$3.50 per $1,000 of valuation per transit segment. Similar
programs range between $4.50 and $6.00 for each $1,000
of valuation declared per transit segment. Protection
may be purchased for one or both interstate transit
segments as required, although the customer is not required
to purchase for round-trip transit. Similar protection
plans do not include coverage when in storage contractor's
warehouse, and will either charge additionally for or
will not cover shuttling between the drayage contractor's
warehouse and show hall. There is never a deductible
for damage protection when covered by EXHlBlTGuard.
